A Day in the Life
1. Supports the development of the external communications strategy for the cluster and executes its implementation.
2. Supports the development of media relations strategy and executes an engagement agenda with digital, traditional, consumer and B2B journalists.
3. Develops content hub to feed our external communication channels with compelling stories to achieve defined business objectives and leverage our corporate reputation with target audiences.
4. Creates media pitches according to our strategic communication pillars, regional and local narratives and business priorities to support our reputation plan.
5. Identifies and secures speaking/engagement opportunities aligned with business objectives and our reputation plan.
6. Manages media monitoring tools providing KPIs and tracking to our deliverables as well as our key competition initiatives bringing insights to our strategy.
7. Supports spokesperson training sessions and continued issues management program.
8. Partners with Internal and Digital peers to ensure alignment in the Communications initiatives.
9. Partner with our PR agency in the execution of External Communications plans.
10. Establishes and maintains External Communications standards, policies and governance.
• Bachelor's in Public Relations, Journalism or Communications.
• Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English
• Experience in external communications in large healthcare companies or PR agencies.
• Good experience in media relations, content creation, executing reputation plans and stakeholder engagement projects.
• Marketing Communications experience is a plus.
• Skills for identifying media pitches and execute content creation for external purposes
• Strategic understanding of marketing and communications
• Competence in management of different and innovative communications approaches
• Stakeholder management and engagement
• Strong written+verbal communication
• Solid influencing+interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan, organize, execute and monitor projects and campaigns
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Able to travel regional 15% - 20%, as required
PREFERENCES
• Intermediate skills in written and spoken Spanish is desirable
