A Day in The Life
• Achieve & strive to exceed revenue, margin, & profitability objectives, as well as delivering expected profit results by balancing revenue generation & expense management.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, & manage teams. Actively coach direct reports to meet annual objectives through the development of competent business skills, product knowledge, & market development.
• Lead regional opportunity development & opportunity management strategies & activities that translate into accurate monthly, quarterly, & annual projections.
• Identify, qualify, prepare, & execute effective sales & marketing strategies that accelerate the existing business & support the close of competitive & revenue growth opportunities.
• Collaborate across key internal stakeholder groups, such as Operating Unit leader, finance, sales operations, marketing, Original Equipment Manufacturer etc., as well as peers to identify & address trends & to support business goals & strategy.
• Work closely with Group Purchasing Organizations -Management, Strategic account management to ensure that the local requirements, strategy & tactics are seamlessly integrated.
• Achieve customer satisfaction for products & services. Ensure all regulatory & product specific guidelines are met.
Must Haves
• Bachelor's Degree or vocational training in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience with a proven track record in overachieving commercial targets
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills & excellent business acumen
• In depth knowledge & experience working with the German Healthcare system
• Extensive experience in building & developing highly engaged & successful teams & individuals
• Fluency in German & English
• Ability to Travel- Across the region for business meeting & customer engagement events (>50%)
Nice to Haves
• Master’s Degree (MBA, MA, MS) or any other higher degree
• Experience working in the Acute Care & Monitoring space or healthcare industry
• Executive sales & negotiating skills
• Experience writing reports, presentations, & business correspondence; ability to effectively present information & respond to questions from customers, internal & external stakeholders, & various other support teams

Currently part of Medtronic, Medtronic has announced its intention of separation of Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Interventions businesses to advance the future growth and innovation of PM and RI and to reallocate investments and resources within Medtronic.
