Innovation Director
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Innovation: Analyze micro and macro healthcare and economic trends in the region to evaluate strategic and innovative calculated risk opportunities and investments that lead to accelerated growth for Medtronic Latin America
- Explore white space – unmet and unarticulated customer needs to create innovation opportunities. Explore new markets, products, customer segments, as well as inorganic and organic growth opportunities
- Transform the digital customer engagement experience by spearheading a digital strategy blueprint, monitoring market trends, assessing digital solutions, and helping implement the execution of the digital engagement model. Incubator of digital models to scale up in the region
- Macro strategy and New Operating Model: Steer the vision, mission, and strategy for Medtronic Latin America.
- Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
- Or advanced degree with a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, minimum of 7+ years of managerial experience
- Spanish and English required
Nice to Have
• Prior experience with Latin American Region
• Prior experience in with companies in the medical industry or similar regulated industry
