A Day in the Life:
•Oversees and coordinates the assembly of products following FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO guidelines and Medtronic procedures and documents all processes used.
•Oversee and coordinate work of manufacturing leads, assemblers and technicians
•Train assemblers, manufacturing leads and technicians in clean room procedures, QSR’s and ISO guidelines and requirements
•Assign work according to production schedule
•Suggest improvements in processes, products and schedules
•Work with Production Manager and Director of Operations to assign work, review activities, review problems
•Select, train, supervise and evaluate production personnel
•Coordinate production activity with other Production Supervisors
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Nice to Have
•3+ years of experience in device assembly
•2+ years supervisory experience
•Production operations, work planning, scheduling
•Read drawings and Shop Orders
•Quality System Regulations
•ISO procedures
•Supervise and train production personnel
•Use of various tools, including microscopes, calipers
•Basic computer skills
•Analyze operations, functions, finished products
•Recognize problems and take corrective measures
•Hazardous materials handling and emergency response procedures
•Basic reading and math
•Analytical skills
