Day in the life:
• Lead product development programs of high complexity, team size, and/or breadth of responsibility. Accomplishes results through delegation of responsibility to Individual Contributors who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Provides leadership, coaching and career development. Leading through influence across aspects of the business.
• Interaction I Liaison: Frequent interaction with internal or external contacts at various organizational levels concerning ongoing operations or changes relating to processes or program. Leads briefings and meetings with internal and external contacts.
• Operations Involvement : Works with cross functional operational team representatives on released product management projects.
• Impact : Provides measurable input regarding development of overall objectives. Ensures that ongoing operations, processes and programs are completed on schedule and within budget. Erroneous decisions, recommendations or failure to complete assignments would result in moderate impact on customers and/or objectives.
• Guidance Given : Significant direction and guidance is provided about assigned objectives and design. Some involvement in programs and process design is expected.
• Policy Involvement: Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect subordinate organizational units. Recommends modifications to operating policies

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Similar related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Similar related field and 3+ years or relevant experience
• 2+ years of project and/or people management experience
• Cross-functional knowledge and/or experience.
• Ability to build a strong cohesive cross-functional team through motivational and teambuilding skills.
• Demonstrated track record of leading within complex organizations requiring strong influence management skills.
• Good communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Project management skills; knowledge of process and project planning best practices.
• Ability to work cooperatively at all levels in matrix environment to build and maintain the positive relationships required to accomplish organizational goals.
• Demonstrates initiative; results oriented.
• Effective decision making skills - ability to negotiate and balance decisions and priorities across needs of several functional departments.
• Makes timely decisions in the face of risk and uncertainty.
• Must be professional, dedicated, and detail-oriented.
• PMP Certification highly preferred
