Principal Physician Specialist - MIST 1
- Provide on-site support at national / regional events that have large Fellows attendance to include running Aortic simulators
- Be the face of the Aortic business and APV division when meeting with Fellows & Program Directors; understand and incorporate key business campaigns and messaging into interactions and programs
- Own metrics and analytics strategy and execution to include development of user-friendly tracking system and creation of actionable scorecards to be used by Aortic business and sales to drive optimal Fellows and early career engagement. Help design system to collect, analyze and leverage voice of customer from current and previous Fellows to determine what resources have biggest impact. Own strategy to ensure data accuracy at the physician level (Fellows and early career) to enable current and future communication (ex: contact info and current institution accuracy). Responsible for translating data into information and recommendations that will drive increased Fellows and early career engagement and ultimately drive patient access acceleration.
- Own digital strategy to include development of FellowsSpace.com into destination for Fellows to access training and educational resources and drive online engagement
- Provide training to US Aortic Sales Reps / CS / DM teams to drive best practices for Fellows engagement activities (ex: overall engagement plan, sizing workshops, sim sessions, etc.)
- Own relationship with assigned institutions and act as MDT Aortic liaison for Program Director and Fellows
- Assist with transition from Fellowship to permanent practice (early career physicians) by assisting MDT Sales territories and US Field Marketing team
- Execute communication strategy, to include assisting with social media posts, newsletters, and eblast campaigns
- Monitor and enforce all standards and regulations in the Medtronic Business Conduct Standards as they pertain to customer events
- Assure compliance with all Medtronic processes and policies
- Continually seek out and participate in self-development activities
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to travel 30%+
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Physician Relations, Training, Field Sales or Support or Marketing role or 5 years experience with an advanced degree
- Proven project or program management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to foster long-term relationships
- Proven analytical skills with demonstrated database and scorecard creation
- Ability to learn technical / clinical concepts and become conversational in topics relevant to Vascular Surgeons / Medtronic APV
- Proven experience interacting with internal teams, a global sales force, senior management and customers to demonstrate influence management
- Field Sales experience in the aortic vascular space is a strong benefit
- Preferred experience with digital marketing or social media campaigns
