As a seasoned Medtronic IHS Senior Consultant, you'll embark on a journey that entails engaging with clinical staff and key hospital stakeholders.
This role will cover the DACH region and is a remote role. This means your home location is the primary work location. However, you will be required to work onsite in our client partnerships across the DACH region regularly and attend a Medtronic location for meetings from time to time. As we work in a bigger EMEA team, we can offer you to support other regional teams and work occasionally across regional boarders if you are interested.
A Day in the Life
As part of the Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions Consulting team, consultants should:
• Develop solid and enduring relationships with client team members.
• Understand the implications of the client's culture and use this to be more effective from day to day.
• Work independently, with limited supervision, and deliver workstreams or smaller consulting projects.
• Craft communications for different audiences with little guidance; communicate findings logically and with an appropriate level of detail.
• Independently manage issues; pull in help from senior colleagues if needed.
• Capture learning and best practices and continuously enrich Medtronic consulting toolbox.
• Identify and build new services and solutions that enable clients to improve outcomes and reduce costs of delivering care.
Must Haves
• Master’s degree in relevant functional area
• 2-4 years’ experience as a consultant from a high-end healthcare consulting firm.
• Extensive experience in the healthcare environment and in dealing with chief physicians and department heads of hospitals.
• Demonstrable project management skills: planning, coordinating, communicating, influencing, relationship building, achieving milestones, resolving issues, and managing risks.
• People and project management, and change management skills
• Native German, Excellent English (other language skills are a plus)
• Willingness to travel within DACH (up to 70%)
Nice to Haves
• Experience in how to work and communicate in an international corporate environment.
• Toolkit with generic consulting skills especially problem solving
• Distinctive people management skills with a strong team development and coaching ethos
• Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process within the healthcare system
There is a Measles facility-based immunization requirement for this position. Therefore, full Measles immunization is a requirement to fill the open position.
