Senior Marketing Product Manager, Ecommerce, Diabetes
You are a subject matter expert for the digital product
portfolio and drives the long-term roadmap prioritization and alignment across
business units. You should be well-versed in e-commerce strategy,
have an ability to translate strategic concepts into deliverable features, and
have a solid ability to present to senior leaders across the organization. Ideally you should possess a hands-on understanding of best practices in
user experience, user interaction and conversion, and subscription and retention
dynamics.
A Day in the Life
- Own and drive a product vision and roadmap for user experience and functionality backed up by solid business cases
- Determine the profitability and viability of new digital experiences and enhancements that create value for customer and business.
- Works directly with stakeholders leading and collaborating on strategy, requirements, specifications and implementation. Ensures buy-in across stakeholder and partners
- Document and organize business, functional, technical, and creative requirements for new features
- Formulates and presents product strategy, data-based recommendations, and outcomes to cross-functional team and executive leadership. Translates user needs into product strategy.
- Ensures that delivered product meets quality and business specifications
- Ensures that all decisions related to product support business and customer objectives
- Develop schedules and own execution of short and long-range plans, goals and objectives. Anticipate issues, roadblocks and make tradeoffs to deliver a quality product
- Exceptionally strong communicator, skilled at aligning business leaders and managing shifting priorities.
- Research and identify new opportunities to innovate Conducts competitive product analysis and market research to identify new opportunities and present to team and stakeholders. Evaluate ideas and drives adoption of leading ideas.
- Participates in day to day tactical work including: gathering requirements, writing effective user stories, defining acceptance criteria for items in the backlog, prioritizing the backlog, and attending scrum meetings.
- Provides advertising with core brand equity.
- Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in product management with 5+ years of people, program or project managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product management with 5+ years of people, program or project managerial experience
- MBA in marketing or business
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering field preferred
- Experience in direct-to-consumer ecommerce, technology strategy and/or software development
- Track record of understanding product growth and developing strategic roadmap from concept through launch for customer-focused, digital solutions.
- Experience distilling business/consumer requirements/needs impacting concept development, representing the voice of the customer throughout the product development process
- Excellent analytical skills with experience turning data from analytics (GA/SiteCatalyst/CoreMetrics) and analysis tools (Clicktale/Optimizely/Hotjar) into actionable insights
- Experience managing complex cross-departmental teams to prioritize and launch features in an agile environment
- Diabetes product knowledge is a plus
- Experience in digital health / regulated digital is a plus
