Sr. Clinical Statistical Programmer Analyst
Position Description:
Sr. Clinical Statistical Programmer Analyst for Medtronic, Inc. located in Santa Rosa, CA. Provides technical expertise as part of the Statistical Programming team to develop and maintain programs and process methodology which meet internal and external clients’ needs, including clinical research study support; plan and coordinate the development of solutions for projects primarily using SAS® software such as Base SAS®, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro language, SAS/SQL, and SAS/GRAPH on multiple platforms including personal computer or server based platforms; gather and ensure quality of clinical data and integrate data from multiple sources; collaborate closely with statisticians in clinical trials for medical devices; prepare data for electronic regulatory submissions in compliance with Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) including Clinical Data Acquisition Standards Harmonization (CDASH), Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM), and Analysis Data Model (ADaM); coordinate clinical database analysis programming utilizing SAS on multiple platforms for programming, testing, documenting, and validating statistical programs and tools in a regulated clinical environment; and leverage SAS Certification for Base Programmer to ensure the accuracy of result of clinical data analysis. *Position is eligible for telecommuting from anywhere in the United States.
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biostatistics, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Pharmacology or closely related health-related field and two (2) years of experience in SAS® programming. Must possess a min. of two (2) years’ experience with each of the following: Base SAS®, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro language, SAS/SQL, and SAS/GRAPH; Clinical data and clinical data integration; Clinical trials for medical device in collaboration with statisticians; Preparing data for electronic regulatory; submissions in compliance with CDISC including CDASH, SDTM, and ADaM; Data review and; extraction from clinical database; Programming, testing, documenting, and validating statistical programs and tools in a regulated clinical environment. The following certification is required: SAS Certified Base Programmer. *Position reports to Medtronic, Inc. located in Santa Rosa, CA. and is eligible for telecommuting from anywhere in the United States.
