This role leads the Gastrointestinal and Hepatology (GIH) contracting and pricing efforts. Contracting and pricing activities involve interaction with multiple departments: Legal, Sales, Sales Management, Customer Service, Sales Operations, external Customers, Finance. In this position, responsibilities include reviewing and red-lining of customer contracts, creation and maintenance of contract templates, contract creation, contract signature, logging proposed and completed contract in SalesForce.com contract management module, management of RFPs, pricing maintenance in SAP, contract compliance tracking, payment of rebates, and contract analysis.
The Gastrointestinal Operating Unit of Covidien Sales LLC offers a complete line of solutions that spans the continuum of care. We help with early detection and treatment of diseases and reduce complications to accelerate recovery from patient conditions. We focus on expanding global access to our therapies that improve clinical outcomes for gastrointestinal diseases and cancer, and patients with respiratory compromise.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
- Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Prepares bids, processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information.
- Utilize SAP to maintain customer pricing and maintain contract management system in Salesforce.com.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

- Bachelors Degree and 4+ years contracts and pricing experience OR Advanced Degree and 2+ years contracts and pricing experience.

- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat DC
