Technician IV
Medtronic Tempe Campus, located in Tempe, Arizona, is looking for a Technician IV to support Wafer Fab Operations and the Advanced Packaging Facility as an equipment maintenance technician.

The primary focus of this position will be in wafer fab areas such as etch or thin films. You will conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance; as well as develop specifications, troubleshooting methodologies, and support systems.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide hands-on technical support for equipment maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Must have demonstrated maintenance experience with wafer fab, lasers, grinding, material handling, and/or surface mount process equipment.
- Read schematics, diagrams, and written descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Some descriptions may be verbal.
- Run projects, including performing complex tests, interpreting data, developing key reports and providing updates to the broader team.
- Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established procedures, and perform detailed mathematical calculations.
- Look for and make improvements to optimize work processes.
- Meet operational attainment of Safety, Quality, and Service goals.
- Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology
- Demonstrated maintenance experience in microelectromechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot unusual failure modes and implement root cause solutions that eliminate failure mode.
- Experience with:
- Vacuum systems
- Dry Etch
- Wet Etch
- Component TS
- Thin Films
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
