Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is the central nervous system in the new Medtronic operating model, connecting commercial, finance, product portfolio management, strategy and supply chain operations to deliver ONE plan across the enterprise. The successful IBP Senior Program Manager will play a significant role in extending and accelerating the maturity of IBP across the Medical Surgical portfolio**, as well as across Medtronic. You will drive transformational change by designing and implementing new and enhanced business planning processes that will unlock growth within Medical Surgical and lead initiatives that expand IBP’s capability across the Enterprise to satisfy customer needs AND optimize financial results.
This position reports to the Portfolio IBP leader with a dotted line to the Medtronic IBP Enterprise PMO.

This is a remote based role that can be based anywhere in the US. Travel < 25%.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Leads or leverages cross functional and/or cross geography teams to evaluate, develop and manage large scale process improvement and technology deployment projects for IBP-linked initiatives.
- Oversees and manages the initiation and operational aspects of programs and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and IBP leadership.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules, tracks action items and prepares status reports.
- Monitors the program from initiation through delivery; navigating in a rapidly changing environment, balancing tradeoffs between scope, schedule and resources.
- Assesses project issues and effectively escalates or develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, IBP leadership, and clients.
- Brings continuous improvement mindset to projects and programs with focus on delivering end results.
- Has a global mindset and capability to work across full Medtronic scope and teams in building collaboration and delivering results.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7 years of business program/project management experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in delivering large, complex program results that require cross-functional and global elements.
- Proven interpersonal and influence skills with efficient collaboration, project team motivation, effective conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills for multi-disciplined teams comprised of diverse backgrounds and varying skill levels.
- Able to simultaneously dive into detailed execution yet always keep the big picture in focus
- Prior experience with IBP, business process improvement programs or large scale corporate initiatives including stakeholders in commercial, or supply chain operation functions
