We are looking for a Principal Transportation Analyst to support our Deliver-Transport Office Department. In this role you will become responsible for designing and implementing transport process improvements, creating performance dashboards to control the Transport – Shipment flow processes and participating in large improvement projects. 
This is a challenging role within the Transport Office department and a perfect fit for an experienced logistics professional who can work independently on building up a governance structure and identifying improvements areas on performance and costs. A Day in the Life
The following activities will be done within the Transport Office team in EOC (European Operations Center):
•    Documentation Creation, 
•    Transport Planning & Customer Service activities.
•    Supporting Activities & Quality (Archiving, pre-/ post Transport shipping activities), 
•    Projects and Solutions.

Principle Accountabilities of the Principal Transportation Analyst:
•    Evaluate on time delivery performance of our Shipment flow & Direct flow process and identify performance improvement initiatives.
•    Manage service and productivity improvement initiatives within the team.
•    Act as an escalation point for operational issues during transportation and export activities.
•    Define transport process solutions for our organization & customers and manage the design, engineering, and implementation phases.
•    Lead and/ or participate in X-department or global improvement projects related to Transport Office or Transportation processes.
•    Collaborate with the different organizations like Customer Care & Order Ops, Supply Chain planning, Logistics and Trade Operations and you are the Transport delegate to coordinate and support the Multi Quality Management systems for Transport processes within EMEA.

You will report into the Senior Transportation Manager and work independently whilst connecting with team members and other Customer Care or Deliver colleagues.

Must Haves
•    Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Transport and/or Economics
•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Transportation position
•    General knowledge of SAP, Transport Management Systems, Process Mining 
•    Power BI reporting skills / strong Excel skills
•    Fluent in English
•    Strong analytical, negotiating, communication and reporting skills

This role will require limited travel, estimated less than 5% of the time. Our team is based in Heerlen (NL).

Nice to Haves
•    Experience working in a multinational (matrix organization) is a plus.
•    Experience working within the healthcare environment is beneficial.
•    Preferably yellow / green belt.
