As Product Manager for Peripheral Embolization in Western Europe, you will be responsible for driving marketing strategies and tactics to accelerate the adoption of embolization products in peripheral indications, support market development, gain market share, and achieve Medtronic’s ambitious growth targets, with a specific focus on new product launches and emerging indications.
A Day in the Life
- Manages the marketing planning and execution process for the Peripheral Embolization portfolio, including the development of the marketing strategies and the implementation of marketing initiatives and tactics at regional and country levels

- Drives all marketing activities related to Peripheral Embolization, including but not limited to:
- Product launches, promotion, positioning, value proposition and pricing
- Market research and analysis, customer segmentation and targeting
- Market and therapy development initiatives
- Competitive intelligence collection, competitive marketing programs
- Customer and internal training and education
- Digital marketing and communications
- Scientific data dissemination and conference management
- Leads all operational aspects of product management, including short-term and long-term demand and supply planning, and inventory management.
- Actively supports country-level marketing to develop and implement their local marketing plans. Consistently and effectively communicates appropriate product, market, clinical, and competitive information to the sales organizations in Western Europe to maximize sales results. Builds and maintains relationships with country/regional sales and marketing teams.
- Acts as the product champion and is the single point of expertise for information on the product, target market and product competitors for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Partners closely with the Global Business Unit (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Training) and European Support Functions (Supply Chain, Pricing, Reimbursement, Regulatory Affairs) to align on objectives and secure appropriate support.
- Works with Regional/Country sales and marketing leadership to implement work processes that enable superior execution of sales and marketing strategies across the region. Establish consistent metrics to measure success.
- Establishes relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and leverages KOL support to promote products and facilitate market adoption, and to assess future market needs.
- Identifies new growth opportunities and unmet customer needs, leveraging the breadth of Medtronic in beyond cardiovascular therapies and delivering clear insights into future product development to the global upstream marketing team.
- Support regional activities for promotion and public relations, including support for international conferences and events.
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering, MBA preferred
- Min 5 years of experience in marketing in the medical device industry in an international role
- Advanced IT skills in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence & CRM software (Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce)
- Fluent in English, another European Language would be a plus

- Strong marketing skills particularly in marketing strategy and product management
- Comprehensive and in-depth understanding of embolization products and therapies
- Strong analytical thinking to develop market insights and drive fact-based decision making
