A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a (Sr.) Program Manager to join the EMEA Quality and Regulatory Affairs Transformation and Portfolio Management Office (QRA T&PM|O) team. The EMEA QRA T&PM|O was formed in February and has doubled in size since then. We are a cross-functional go-to entity for all key strategic initiatives across the region that Quality and Regulatory Affairs is involved in or in the lead of.
As a Program Manager on the team, you will have the opportunity to have a big impact on a functional transformation journey and to coordinate and lead a variety projects across our Central Europe, Middle-East and Africa (CEMA) region. This role will manage challenging initiatives that are among senior leadership’s top priorities and as such is a great career accelerator.

In this role you will report to the leader of the EMEA Quality and Regulatory Affairs Transformation and Portfolio Management Office, who is based in the Netherlands but works remotely.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following (other duties may be assigned):
• Be the liaison and go-to-person for the CEMA region in the T&PM|O; serve as translator, navigator and connector between the T&PM|O, sub-region and management;
• Workly closely with the CEMA leadership; identify opportunities and risks in the CEMA region, continuously reassess business priorities, generate meaningful deliverables and influence strategic direction;
• Plan, coordinate and manage cross-functional programs from program creation to closure, following the methodologies of the T&PM|O;
• Identify key stakeholders, help understand and manage expectations, provide material and strategies to socialize activities and create buy-in;
• Proactively facilitate discussions to address obstacles and find the best solutions for the sub- region;
• Drive, coordinate and communicate about the development and execution of project plans including, schedules, budgets, resources; help track project plans, resourcing, status reporting, project risks, metrics and provide program status visibility through scorecards and dashboards;
• Help create slides and gather information for leadership presentations;
• Establish and inform effective communications and change management activities;
• Contribute to a high-performing, highly motivated, collaborative environment of trust, empowerment, and accountability.
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree;
• >7 years of relevant cross-functional program management experience in a multinational matrix environment; 5 years with an advanced degree;
• CEMA region experience and relevant language skills;
• PMI Certification or other formal Project Management training;
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact; demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and long-term planning;
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal/team effectiveness; this includes the ability to succinctly and accurately communicate to various levels of management and employees;
• Natural tendency to work independently and autonomously;
• Ability to work collaboratively to determine and develop approaches to solutions with very little to no supervision or direction;
• Ability to balance competing priorities across multiple functional areas;
• Excellent cross-functional team engagement and stakeholder management skills;
• Passion for simplifying complexity and working through ambiguity;
• Reliably high levels of accuracy, accountability, integrity and flexibility;
• Strong internal customer focus and understanding;
• Extraordinary proficiency and fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• Highly sophisticated PowerPoint and Excel skills.

• Experience driving change management initiatives across an organization;
• Experience with other relevant tools such as Agile or Financial Analysis;
• Experience with IT, supply chain or operational excellence projects;
• Regulatory Affairs or Quality functional experience;
• Large medical device company background.
